Battle: Los Angeles , also known as World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles , is a science fiction film directed by Jonathan Liebesman and starring Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Pena and Bridget Moynahan. It is inspired by the incident of the Battle Los Angeles in 1942. The filming was conducted between September 2009 and October 2010 in Shreveport and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
